» Hello all! Welcome to Fruits Project; a site where you can find tips for drawing anime style characters.
I like anime and manga, and drawing their style is my hobby, but I'm no pro in drawing or CGing, so you definitely don't have to stick with what I tell you.

Hope you like the new layout of Peach. The blue-haired girl that you see is Milly. You can find her in the Gallery section.

I added a new tutorial about folds (thanks to FlammingStarre ^_~). Also added five new CGs to the Gallery section.
The big event is the appearance of affiliates XD. The links to Anime Edge and Baka Neko are now available on this page.
Feel free to go through the new tutorial and the gallery XD and I'd really appreciate it if you e-mailed me with suggestions about next tutorials. Or just sign my guestbook. Let me know what your requests and suggestions are.

Introduction: Before we go into details about specific parts of anime characters, why not take a general glance about them as a whole? This is mainly an intro to our tutorials.

The Face: Types, angles and perspectives.

 

The Eyes: Facts about the Animeic Eye. Mostly examples.



The Hair: Now...This is the funniest part in drawing anime gals! I'd draw lots of sketches just to try different hair styles and lengths ^_^ and you actually need no tutorial.


Folds: Folds are pretty hard to draw. Check out this tutorial to get a basic idea about folds: Where to place them, and how to draw them.
